In 1951 LOF sent out a 78RPM record rather than cards as a Christmas greeting

The recording was made especially for LOF and narrated by Lionel Barrymore.

In part, the message contained "...at this Christmas Season when Peace on Earth and Good Will toward Men is threatened by forces that would destroy the sacred heritage of every man, every woman and every child who lives and works under the protection of the most precious documents in all the world - our Declaration of Independence and our Constitution."

Only a limited number of pressing were distributed.
