They can be tough, but with electric tools and sharp blades usually you should be able to get them out pretty quick. We use the express and keep it the blade and urethane soaked with water while cutting and it does pretty good, but this windshield will never make my top 100 of ones I like to
do.
One of my competitors was letting the trucking company buy the glass elsewhere and installing them for $30.00 including urethane and mobile. After my competitor went out of business the trucking company called us and we told them $85.00 per side they said we was crazy but they tried one and now
I am doing them for a hundred a side since they needed fast cure urethane. No easy answer on these that I know of so I recommend
pricing them accordingly. SB
There's no short cuts or easy ways of doing them...Most of these have the
sun visor ..You have to use a short cold knife to fit under the visor if you want to cut it out from the
outside. The top outer corners are a pain to say the less...I use power tools as much as possible and watch the other side when you do as you know you can break
it. FXS
I do these all the time what I found the easiest is to use a
Fein knife cut out from the inside be real careful in the center you can hit the other windshield or cut into its seal as for the door side edge
I use the Fein knife from the outside and get as deep and as far into the corners you can actually make it almost to the first stop on the bottom with the
Fein knife from the outside this makes things much easier also make sure you don't
lose the stops!!! I also use aegis glass handler cups makes setting it much easier.

...we have customers that use our tool for the cut out of these shields and they are cutting the job time in half or
more. Jeff@Extractor
