No biggie, I've done one with a SGC and it was short but I'm
used to it...I put a flexi on it before anything. Things you get used to
sometimes were I work . . . lol FXS
Just make sure that you get a good seal and make the
customer wait until the urethane has cured. There was a technical bulletin
right from Navistar warning about these shields leaking.
Apparently the bottom sits over the front of the dash and
all of the computer systems will get wiped out if it leaks. A lot of guys that
bought new trucks are mad because a lot of glass companies will not touch
these, and the dealer will not either. j
It is pretty strait forward and not difficult. Cut it out
with the power tool of your choice, trim the old urethane and run the new.
You'll need an extra hand to set it because of its size. The hardest part is
getting the driver to stop long enough for a safe cure.
