The air powered NINJA removes these with ease. Only problem is you have to drop headliner to use it. Also if you get a NINJA watch the set screw that holds the grease cap. A whole lot of vibration here.

Will the ninja get them out without damaging the inner lip of the modular unit on the glass? Also if that is possible does it not cut the lip that shows from the outside of the vehicle, I am assuming that we are talking about the DB9888 or DB9371 flush style slider and not the first glue in design slider DB8839 on the full size trucks.
We tell body shops etc that they need to plan on new windows if these have to be
R&I'd. I had read in a bulletin back when the new Dakota first came out the Chrysler Motor Company said these could not be
R&I'd without damage and I am starting to believe them. SB
If you use the right size blade, there is no damage at all to truck or glass unit. This is an air powered cold knife. It clears all the encapsulation. You need a hefty compressor to take advantage of this tool. Also you have to take down the headliner or pull it to avoid damage to the interior. But it works slick and with the price of these units it will pay for itself.

I use water to lubricate the blade so it runs cooler and cuts better...It works trust me and also cuts down on any smoke from the heat that the knife causes. FXS
...end up cutting a lot by hand, and pretty much
demolishing the old slider. Scott
