Frequently Asked Questions About Listing in the Supplier Guide

From Your Web Site. If you have a web site with your logo or graphic that you want in your listing, we can copy it direct from there.
Mail it to us. If you have logos or pictures on a brochure or letter head, we can give you an address to mail it to, and we'll scan them.
E-Mail it to us. If you have graphic file(s) already made, you can e-mail them to us. Formats of .gif and .jpeg are preferred, but we can also work with .bmp, .tiff, and others.
From a Publication. Is your company or product in a trade magazine? If so, let us know which one, and we can scan it.

Use the Profile Listing Form. If the text information you want is fairly short, just type it in the space provided in the Profile Listing Form.
Mail it to us. If you have your information typed up (or for that matter a sketch), or have a copy of an ad, brochure, or trade listing you use, we can give you an address to mail it to.
E-Mail it to us. If you want, you can e-mail us a separate letter with the information and desired format. If you have it saved in a Word Processing file, you can also send us the file.
Fax it to us. Have your information all written up and a brief sketch of your listing? If so, let us know and we'll give you a number to fax it to.

The best way. To list multiple Divisions, or Locations, it is best to just list your Main branch or headquarters under the appropriate category, and then list all your branches within the profile listing itself. You are allowed to list a maximum of two (2) locations under each category, and both can reference the same Profile Listing.
Additional listings. If you want to list more than two branches / divisions under each category (and reference the same Profile Listing), the annual charge is $10.00 per additional branch.

Basic. In a nutshell, the Basic Listing contains only name, address, phone, and fax information. Currently it is free of charge to qualified Vendors.
Profile. This gives you an additional "min-web page" to explain your products and services. Plus, it provides links to your web site and e-mail contacts. The nice part is that using the Glasslinks search function your listing pops up with a brief description and link.

Glasslinks will also continue for now with our Suppliers On-Line pages for both Auto and Flat Glass. We were 'founded' on our comprehensive list of links to the Glass Industry, and will continue to provide this service. But the Supplier Guide is a separate entity and offers a more organized approach for the industry to find you and your company. Plus it provides a quick way to get a summary of additional information, without having to use a time-consuming process of going to each and every web-site.

The Supplier Guide is intended for Wholesalers to the Glass Industry, and not retailers. In addition, Glasslinks has extensive links on its' pages for Shops On-Line for both Auto and Flat Glass. We may in the future re-vamp the format of these pages so as to include Profile Listings for shops.

It is not necessary to have a web-site (or e-mail address) to use the Profile Listing. In fact the Profile Listing itself is like a mini-web-page. Of course if you would like a full Web Page or Site, we can arrange for that too.

Just let us know what Category we should add to accommodate your listing. We will continue to add categories on a regular basis.

Both the Profile and Basic Listings allow for a maximum of five (5) categories. For the Profile Listing, each additional category listing (beyond 5) is an additional $10.00 per year. If we change our listings of categories causing your listing to be 'out of place', let us know and we'll make it right with you. There is no additional allowance for additional categories with a Basic Listing.

Glasslinks has been around for more than three years now, and will continue to grow. We are not a high-profit organization, and want to be a truly useful site for the Glass Industry. While other Web Directories and Trade Services may charge hundreds of dollars to get listed, it is Glasslinks goal to get as many Glass Industry Related companies, sites, and information together.
