The Interlite Glass Web Site is
reporting that the Tennessee Legislature has several bills dealing
with auto glass issues, including deductible buy downs, incentives,
and advertising as 'free services'.
"ON MARCH 23,
2000, THE HOUSE ADOPTED AMENDMENT #1 AND PASSED HOUSE BILL 2817 AS
AMENDED. AMENDMENT #1 rewrites this bill and states that it is an
unfair, deceptive or fraudulent act for a person or entity engaged in
automobile glass replacement or glass repair services to knowingly...."
