Safelite Glass Network Opens New Web Site

Ambitious plans include submitting claims over Internet

Safelite Glass Network (SGC) has set up a new website to help answer questions and to be an 'interactive' tool for members to check on auto glass referrals. Although not totally up and running just yet, according to their plans, registered network members will be able to gain access to their invoice and payment data.

Information will be available on the most recently submitted invoices and the most recent payments of those invoices. SGC also will allow searches on referrals and invoices. The SGC dedicated shop care center is open Monday through Friday 7:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. EST and Saturday 8:00 a.m. to Noon EST. Safelite claims that 90% of the time, their team can handle questions on the first call, and remaining issues are resolved, on average, within 24 hours.

The web site is available from 7:00 a.m. to Midnight EST. Short term plans include the providing members with the ability to send invoices electronically through the internet at no charge.

Also on the site is a FAQ section regarding the recent Participation Agreement mailed out to potential SGC Network members, including topics on pricing and billing.
