PPG Prostars Names Senior Account Managers


    PPG Industries has named four regional senior account managers for PPG PROSTARS, its automotive replacement glass marketing alliance with retail glass shops.
  • Carolyn Armentrout is Western region senior account manger, based in Santa Ana, Calif.
  • Peter Masci is senior account manager for the Eastern Seaboard, based in Boston.
  • Bill Towler is senior account manager for the central United States, based in Chicago.
  • Jody Vlatkovich is senior account manager for the Mountain States, based in Minneapolis.

    In the new posts, the four senior account managers will secure automotive insurance and fleet business as well as direct and implement marketing efforts for their region’s PPG PROSTARS auto replacement glass retailers.

     "Carolyn, Peter, Bill and Jody have extensive experience marketing to the insurance industry, and we are pleased to have them join our growing team of sales and marketing professionals whose principal focus is to build the PPG PROSTARS alliance," said Garry A. Goudy, vice president, automotive replacement glass. "We are excited about the impact that these high-caliber people will have on the PPG PROSTARS initiative."

    Armentrout has several years’ experience in the automotive replacement glass and automotive collision industries, and held sales positions with Windshields America, Vistar Auto Glass and Caliber Collision. Most recently she was strategic account manager for M2 Automotive, a West Coast chain of automotive collision centers.

    With an established track record in marketing auto glass claims solutions to insurance companies, Masci joins PPG from Strategic Claims Services, a New England-based claims processing company, where he was vice president.

    Towler has 25 years of experience in claims management, including 20 years with State Farm Insurance Co. in Illinois. He comes to PPG from Mitchell International, San Diego, Calif., a leading provider of estimating software to the insurance industry, where he was vice president for business development and strategic relationships. He formerly was president and chief executive officer of Regional Claim Services, Oak Lawn, Ill.

    Vlatkovich has extensive insurance industry marketing experience and knowledge. He joins PPG from Harmon Auto Glass, where he held sales and sales management positions during the past 12 years.
