Independents Lose Appeal in Network Anti-Trust Case

"The" Autoglass Network Trial of several Texas independent glass shops versus Safelite / Harmon Glass / Windshields America / USA-Glas / Globe has reached another milestone. In September 1995 the shops sued the networks for anti-trust violations. They lost the case in August 1998, and subsequently appealed.

The U.S. Court of Appeals has now refused to overrule the lower courts' decision, citing a lack of evidence to prove anti-trust violations.
