NAGS Calculator Released - Effective Sept. 3, 2001

NAGS has released their latest Calculator containing updated Auto Glass pricing, as well as suggested labor times, for both domestic and foreign parts. This new Calculator, with an effective date of  September 3, 2001, replaces the previous one which was published in May, 2001.

Although there was no significant autoglass manufacturers price increases recently, NAGS continually updates with new parts as well as price adjustments. A Glasslinks review of windshield list prices found several numbers that have changed dramatically, but the overall price change minimal.

Tempered parts list price chagnes reflect mainly Chrysler and Ford adjustments, along with many GM Bonded and 'Net' prices parts changing substantially. It should be noted that many of these particular parts are wholesaled at NET prices, and not off of NAGS List prices.

The biggest consistent change on tempered pricing is that NAGS lists for Carlite B parts have been decreased 21%.

Below is a chart of several selected Ford and Chrysler application windshields, where the list prices have gone up or down.
