We are very pleased to announce
that effective November 16, 2000, Farmers will add LYNX
Services and PPG PROSTARS to their FASGLAS program.
The addition of LYNX and PPG PROSTARS participants to the
FASGLAS program will increase customer choice and satisfaction
through an expanded database of glass service providers.
Along with LYNX Services, Safelite and Harmon will continue
in their participation in the FASGLAS Program.
FASGLAS is a national program designed to streamline the
reporting and handling of glass claims from Farmers agents and
customers.
To initiate claims, Farmers
agents call a dedicated 800# to report the glass loss and the call
will now be allocated to one of the three national autoglass
providers.
LYNX Services and PPG
PROSTARS participants may also receive non-dispatched work and
should contact LYNX Services at 1-888-374-6113 to verify coverage.
When calling LYNX with Farmers work, be sure to have the agent’s
name and phone number. LYNX
must verify coverage by contacting the agent.
Farmers has taken great care in
making the decision to include LYNX Services to their program.
You, as a LYNX or PPG PROSTARS participant, can contribute to the
overall success of this program in several ways:

Contact
local agents to promote the FASGLAS program and your
shop’s value as a local participant with LYNX Services
and/or PPG PROSTARS.

Beginning November 16, speed
the process by reporting all Farmers work via LYNX. All
jobs completed for Farmers must have a dispatch number.

Expedite
payment by invoicing all Farmers work through LYNX
Services.

LYNX
Services will contact the Farmers agent to verify coverage in
order to provide you with a dispatch number prior to
commencing work.

Provide
excellent service to the customer.
