Salt Lake City, UT April 19, 2001, <www.dialmark.com> --
DialMark, an auto glass sales and marketing software provider
announced that it will maintain it’s policy of providing free and
EDI technology to its customers. At present, DialMark is the only
point of sale software vendor in the glass industry to offer free
EDI service to its customers.
Duane Rogowski, a long time industry EDI expert and senior DialMark
programmer said, “Enough people are in the pockets of the
independent glass shop. It’s
easier for the customer and for us as the vendor if EDI is done
direct. You have fewer
possible points of failure and ultimately, greater billing control
ends up on the glass shops bottom line in lower costs.”
Free Direct EDI will be included in DialMark’s point of sale / CRM
(customer relationship management) software which became available
to the public April 1st.
Additionally, DialMark plans to support the trend of direct
EDI billing through the Internet.
Current DialMark customers sell over 150 million dollars in
Auto Glass, which translates into a large number of EDI invoices.
According to DialMark President John Wharton, “Free EDI was our
goal from the beginning.” Speaking
of the recent friction between DialMark and Lynx Mr. Wharton added,
“Because of our legal involvement with LYNX and PPG we’ve been
forced to change our technology in order to maintain our promise of
free direct EDI. To our
customers, it’s still the same great software and service.”
DialMark will begin Internet demonstration of their software
available from their website (www.dialmark.com)
beginning April 1st.
DialMark was founded in 1999 with a focus on direct selling
strategies for independent auto glass companies and is run by John
Wharton and Doug Call. The
company is based in South Jordan, Utah. |
