PPG Prostars has announced a television ad touting the service of their newly formed auto glass alliance of shops. This "cute" little ad features a poor guy taking his car through a car wash and having it completely filling up with water. The moral being, that if you don't have your windshield replaced properly, you may end up with a slight 'leak problem'. The Prostars service men come to the car wash and replace the glass, while the gentleman sips coffee from a Prostars coffee cup. He then prepares to drive away, emptying his water - logged violin with a smile. You have to wonder what this "visual statement" says about safe drive away time.

Safelite Autoglass commercials
include a neat little "ditty" of a driver encountering a rock chip as it streaks
towards the windshield in the form of a "meteor". Great effect and great sound. The Safelite "Repair Medic" streaks to the scene of the "crime" and performs the repair, under the slogan of "if there's a rock, we roll". You can go to Safelite site to download and view the ads and get information about what channels to find them on television. |
