AGS First Auto Glass Replacement Company to be Certified ISO9001

    Auto Glass Specialists, Madison, Wisconsin has become the first automotive glass replacement company in the U.S. to be certified to the ISO 9001 quality standard. The company successfully completed the final assessment for certification the first week of May.

    The ISO 9000 family of standards represents an international consensus on good management practices. It's purpose is to ensure that organizations can time and time again deliver products or services that meet the client's quality requirements. ISO 9001 sets the requirements for an organization whose business processes range all the way from design and development, to production, installation and servicing.

    The scope of this certification encompasses AGS' glass replacement business, AEGIS Windshield Repair and Performance Achievement Group training divisions. Certification is of particular importance to AEGIS and PAG as they continue to expand into international markets.

    Founded in 1961, Auto Glass Specialists owns and operates 58 retail service centers in five Midwestern states.
